I was wondering what the best place is to get BMW emblems for my car. I have a BMW318is. I found some but they were only 12 dollars and that didn't seem right.. I want the real ones..

Please let me know. Thank you.

It really depends on which emblems you are looking for. I got wheel emblems at the stealership for really cheap, something like 10-15 dollars. Much beyond that I might try bavauto. The other guys might have more info for you.

By the way to the forums!

, for starters.

www.bavauto.com has them, and I think they're about $15 with the grommets . Easy as pie to put in, just make sure to have some low-tack tape on hand.

well.. there are trunk emblems, hood emblems... and wheel ones....

your local stealership will have them.... i got mine from my local mechanic for 20 bucks (the hood emblem)...really easy to take the old on out and new in.... i wouldnt go with the screw driver way for replacing the hood emblem.... i would pop the hood, move the black material crap out of the way from the back side of the hood, then get something to push the 2 things that hold the emblem in, out. much safer than using a creditcard/towel and screw driver to pry the old one off.

!

Um... tried that. Can't be done on a '93. There's a piece of metal in the way.

You can get them through the mail, but they're so cheap if you have a dealer close to you, get them there. They aren't a high cost item since they can fade, get chipped, get stolen, or have a part fall off. So they are cheap for easy and quick replacement.

From what i know all do, just like any car emblem if they are in the sun they can wear over time.

Heck, BMW emblems hold up better than most. They will fade in time, and they can chip or crack if you don't treat them well. Of course, any emblem will.

$18.50 at the dealership...they put em on too

AMG can't build an NA engine that can compete with M engines, so they stick in a supercharger and say their cars are faster. BMW could simply do the same, but they don't out of principle.
