bmw 318i engine question

ok so every one keeps trying to tell me my bimmer only puts out 113hp. its a 92 318i, i used a vin decoder to find out it is equipped with the m42 engine tru or false? if true the n i should be putting out 138hp right? besides that i got full exhuast (ebay exhaust bu still) cold air intake lead filter bosh platnum 4 plugs and an ecu eprom tuned by a desint town tuner. and ideas on what i would be putting out and y every one say 318i only comes with 113 bhp? thanx heres the info from vin decoderChassis number FG00725

The M42 puts out about 138hp as you said.

Dont use bosch plat +4 plugs. Use NGK Copper +2 or Bosch OEM Copper +2. Do some searching on this site and others if you doubt.

The smaller hp number is "at the wheel", the larger hp number is the rating at the motor before the energy from the motor is transfered through the trans, drive train, etc.

ok thats what i was thinking. must b refuring to earley year 328i or something? i wanna go get it om=n the dyno 2 see what its got with the mods listed
