Bmw 318 Oil Leak - BMW Forum

hey everybody i need help, my 93 318is has a pretty bad leak, oil is landing on the sub-frame then hitting the floor any idea where it could be leaking from-thanks Marco

oil pan gasket ?
valvecover gasket ?

Try and look around, does this only happen when the car is running, or does it leak like this all the time ?

Wash of the engine and then run it for a short while and check it

I'd check around the oil pan first and work your way up

thanks for the help, i high pressure washed the engine on monday and since the there has been no oil leak, ive been under and there is nothing,the car was doing great till yesterday when the car wash shot super high pressure water and leaked through and fried my ecu,isnt life grand!!!!!!!!

should have covered the brain and electronics of the car.
