bmw 316i e36 idleing rough

hi can anyone help recently bought a baby 316i been running lovely went to sainsbury's today to put petrol in and since then its it idling rough and a little hesitant on acceleration dont know wether this is a coincidence so i put more petrol in at another garage does anyone have any ideas??

Could be the fuel, as we did have a problem with supermarket fuel a few years back if you can recall ? , maybe your fuel filter needs changing if you ran low before you filled up, then all the crap is now in the filter.

could be the fuel. get the best premium you can and run it. it should improve. these cars can be fickle when it comes to the quality of fuel.

if you wish, you could also try adding a can (bottle) of techron, or another fuel additive, but i don't think that it will do much to help matters.
