BLower Motor not Blowing, is it the FSU or Blower Motor?

Last two trips driving my 1998 328IC the blower didn't come on immediately when I turned on the A/C. After 10-20 seconds and me fiddling with switches, it would start blowing. Third trip out, the blower motor doesn't come on at all. The Compressor is on, and all lights on the panel are on, just no air flow. I have the auto climate control. Is there any way to tell if it is the FSU or the Blower Motor?

If it is the blower motor, does any particular brand blow harder than another? I live in Houston and it is HOT! Thanks for any help and advice to basically a NOOB!

Forgot to say that I have checked the fuses, is there a relay to check? Is so where is it?

Could be that damned "Hedgehog" regulator thingy again! They fail often and were upgraded in 1998... You might have missed the upgrade !!

Sounds like the blower motor seized....mine did in the winter burrr $850 installed...at first it wasn't blowing very hard then it staryed squeeling...then stopped blowing any air!

Its an option, but go for the resistor first....
