| Blower Motor Controls
I have had this problem for some time now and am completely lost on what to do next so if anyone has any ideas that would be great. I actually have a few questions will I will post in a series of threads after this. Thanks in advance for the help. So my blower motor only works on dial notch 4. At any other time it is just off. So, that must be the blower motor resistor. I have replaced that twice already. Everything works for about a week or less, then it stops working again. I'm assuming there is too much power coming from somewhere in the car or something. I regret to say however, I am no good when it comes to electrical. I have an ammeter and have used it to test the volts running through the resistor, at different speed settings on the blower motor controls as well, but to be honest I don't even know what the volts that I found mean. Sometime it was 0, sometimes it was 12 volts and a decimal. If anyone could shed some light on what to do next that would be great. Thank you. |
