blacked out kidney grills

first of all, don't laugh at me.. i guess u can... i removed something but i can't get it back in..

this weekend, i removed my grills in the front to black them out... i found this really good side that showed me how to do it.. fine... i finished everything n they turned out better than i anticipated..

but not the problem is i can get those things back on... is there a trick to snap those babies in there again..
also the grills said L and R on each.. does R go towards the passenger or the driver side?

btw, i didn't remove the alternator cooler (or whatever it's called to remove the grill since one of them was a little loose.. so i just put my hand through that one and removed the other as well)

never mind guyz... i was able to install them... wuz trying the wrong grill on the wrong side... one snapped back in pretty tight...
the other seems to b a little loose... afraid its gonna fall off...

If one is loose you may have broken one of the clips....

I did it to my car, sanded the chrome down a bit. Sprayed 2 coats primer. saned primer with 400 grit, sprayed another 2 coats. Then 3 or 4 coats of black.

having some technical difficulties posting pics... i DO NOT HAVE a DIGITAL CAMERA handy... somebody has borrowed it...

trust me its work spending the six bucks and hour and a half of labor then to spend $60 on ebay... they look pretty much the same imo...

Yea i think they look better actually, bc they are glossy instead of flat black plastic looking.
