I'm diggin it...it looks good on an all black bimmer. Kinda makes your car look pissed off at the world. In otherwords, see that bad boy flyin up in the rearview, get the f*ck outta the way!

Mark, I bought them of ebay. They look good but they are not really high quality. They fogged up a couple of times already when it was really humid. I am thinking about getting some smoked M3 corners now. I will put them on and see how it looks. I like to experiment a lot
The black grill fits your car great because of the other mods you have in the front to give it an aggressive look. In my opinion they wouldn't look very good on just a regular stock bimmer, but great choice for your car.
The chrome still seems to shine throught the black paint. I wonder if there is a method that can be used to treat the chrome so it won't shine through after it's painted? or is it just me?
I like it. bavauto.com sells a trim that slips over the kidneys to give it the same look, but i am hesitant. As i have a Black/black car, ive been thinking about it, but changing the kidneys is messing with tradition. I like it, I'm just not sure.
I did the same thing with markers, had the ones you have, now i have the smoked clears. The ones you have looked better in photos, but i like my new smoked better in real life!

On the pics there is a lot of glare. The black covers the chrome completely. It's just shiny. I sanded it down with 320 grid sand paper and it worked out well.
I think it looks very good on the black, even stock black cars look nice. It's a subtle change you have to know a little about the e36 to pick up on, kinda like the painted bumpers, sport mirrors, ETC.
