Hi all, I've been researching alot of stuff on this forum and I thought what the heck I'll jsut sign up ! I just recently bought myself a 1993 325i for a pretty good deal but the thing is, one of my shocks are blown out. I plan on buying this set here eBay Motors: BILSTEIN SHOCKS STRUTS BMW E36 318 325 328 92-98 (item 190055090596 end time Dec-02-06 22:31:33 PST) but will they fit ? The guy says that it fits all e36's but I just want to make sure becuase i can't find the part numbers anywhere. Also I plan on getting a new set of springs as well. I narrowed my choices down to 1) eibach pro-kit and 2) h&r sport. I've had experience with the eibach sportlines on my old honda before and the ride was great, but never with h&r's. What do you guys recommend ?
Turner Motor Sports and Pelican Parts... and Bimmer World all have competitive prices... I would not buy things such as this from ebay... as you never know what you'll exactly get... trust the companies that supply these products... such as the few listed above... they are what power the BMW aftermarket world... support them... as they help most all of us in our love for BMWs...
And for reference, the red e36 in my photoshoot is running the exact same suspension setup... but he looks lower than me, we can't understand why...
There's only 2 things i can think of:
1) My suspension was only in the car approximately 4mnths at the time of the shoot
2) I put brand new bump stops in when I did my suspension and I think he carried over his used ones (don't think this matters)
