Changed my guibo this weekend, and while I was at it, I changed the transmission mounts.

On the back side of the rear transmission support bracket, was mounted a big rubber disk about 5" in diameter, and 2" thick. The thing was pretty heavy too.

Does anyone know what this is for?

I imagine it is some sort of vibration damener, but it isn't bolted to anything the moves or rotates.

It is just in front and under the flex disk, so if you havn't taken it off to get to the flex disk, you don't have it.

Thanks
