Best BMW performance upgrades

I have a 2dr 1994 325is auto. I have about 400-500 to spend. I Don't know what to get. I was thinking about a Dinan performance chip with transmission chip plus a cold air intake but dont know what one. So if you could list some parts that are decent it would be great. Thanks.

Actually, I'd say spend it on maintenance and save up a larger amount of money.

It changes the transmission programming, which changes shift points and keeps the engine revving higher in performance situations.
