hi guys im new on here, ive been trying to find a pd file of the abouve for download so i can have a quick look and try to solve the problem with my mates bmw.

I searched forever for a online copy of the Bentley Service Manual......& could never find it, so I just bought one @ a wholesale price......what is the problem with your mates Bimmer......?

Hey Johnny if you don't mind me asking Where did you bought your Bentley Service Manual and for how much?
its a 316i m plate. it wont fire at all, its only got a good spark on two cylinders its getting fuel into the bores. coil pack and a few other thinks have been tried but with no success. i really need a wiring diagram to work off so i can start to check the wiring out.
dont suppose you could scan the diagram i need and send it to me mate?
Where is the ecu mounted in this model btw if anyone knows? are they prone for water ingress at all?

What year 316i?
My 3 series Bentley does not cover the 316i, the ecu is mounted in the passenger side firewall behind 2 covers first with 5 fastners & then behind that 4 more fastners.......& yes they are prone for water damage!

BMW E36 COMPACT Reg 2000 Hi i was repairing my cigar lighter,which had blown,i replaced the right fuse and its ok, then when i put the fuse back in certain interior lights wont come on mainly cluster lights speedosx3 them lights the others on the cluster do ie oil, indicators ,handbrake etc... the radio and clock light and all other interior lights work ok,so i am really confused why these 5 or 6 lights dont work, i have checked the fuses properly and they are all ok so im cunfused and if i take the car to a mechanic god knows what they will come up with maybe ive short circuited something god knows,so i would be extemely greatful if anyone could help me on this,it must be simple but i just dont know.
i haave got a diagram of the fuse box and know what every fuse is for ..so it seems im missing something ,thanks again MARK
