Is anyone else irritated that the bentley manual doesn't have a section that has a list of problems such as poor acceleration and then the pages on possible sollutions or am I missin somethin
Most of the things that deal with poor acceleration have to deal with other things...
Things that might play in your problem.. or the problem your looking to fix... or something of that nature have to deal with the O2 sensors... the ICV... the condition of your engine... the mileage... the condition of your vanos system... the condition of your intake system... and exhaust system... there is a lot that deal with and would help improve your acceleration... if your looking to clean things up... your intake filter... your exhaust... your injector cleaning... normal things on a periodic inspection... mainly cleaning things... will help the over all performance of the engine and thus acceleration...
No... that means its worn out... certain parts are tired... old... can be replaced... for a certain price... such things as injectors... gaskets... pumps... filters... belts... ect ect... most of the same things that are replaced in a frequent inspection at BMW..
I'd say I'm more irritated with the fact that the bently manual doesn't tell you any sizes of any of the bolts. Not too big a deal, but it'd be nice to know if I DIDN'T have a particular socket or wrench BEFORE i started a project.
If you get the Hanes manual... the cheap sucky one... they have the sizes....
