You should only have two belts

Anyhow, I will upload a diagram once I get to my home computer.

Good luck.

Wow man. No patience these days I just got home....

Plus, I don't think what I found will help you much. I only have the diagram for the 1994 and later 4-cyl E36s:

Since the engine is teh same as for the E30 318iS, I would go ahead and also post a thread in the E30 section. Hopefully somebody there will be better equipped to help you. We have some active members that own that car, so you should be able to get some feedback soon.

Hi, this is fairly easy......get your new belts.....there will be 2 different size V belts....line them up with the corresponding pulleys starting with the most inner.....example if the power steering belt is the most inner, this one should be installed first & then the alternator.....as far as knowing which belt is which, when you order them, just take note of the # on the belt......You only have 2 V belts
Alternator & Power Steering.....the other belt is your a/c belt & its a Serpentine Belt/Ribbed Drive Belt.
Hope this helps......
Example:
Shopping Cart

Example: part # 10X1025 CRP-Contitech
V Belt/Drive Belt; Alternator

part # 10X730 CRP-Contitech
Belt/Drive Belt; Power Steering

part # 4PK0855 CRP-Contitech
Serpentine Belt/Ribbed Drive Belt; AC Compressor; 4 Rib, 855mm Length

johnny,
