battery problem - BMW Forum

Hey guys!
got a bit of a strange one. for 3 days straight my battery has been dead in the morning. a quick jump from my booster pack will start it and the car will be good all day. this leads me to believe that the alternator is charging the battery. 3 days ago i tried the car in the morning and it wasn't dead. every day since it has been fine. i even let it sit for a day and drove my truck, still
started. the alt. is 4 months old, and the battery is 1 year old. wtf?
any help would be appreciated, thanks!

have you checked to see if you have anything draining the battery? its a painfull process but its very possible.

i thought maybe i had a draw but i'm not sure how to check where it would be, and why it would stop after 3 days.

heres the problem if it stopped how can you tell where the draw is. what you need is a voltage tester and when it happens again, you need to check the voltage and see if there is a draw on the battery, than the quickest way is to pull fuses untill you source the problem. than once you find the problem you need to do a process of elimination on said source.
