well, I know the M3 swap is upwards of 10K USD...
Rebuilding an auto tranny is probably a few thousand bucks, esp. if you let the dealer do it.

I'm very interested in the manual transmission swap's price. I know you need a new driveshaft and differential because the geraing is signifcantly different and the lengths arn't the same, at least those are the major expensives (I think) in getting a auto to manual swap.
