My diver's side lock mechanism has been screwing up. I can manually lock it (thus locking the rest of them) but manually locking the passenger side or trunk has no effect on it. It decides to work SOMETIMES. Like, on occasion, I can actually set my car alarm and the thing will lock (once again, only a problem on my driver's side). What. The. Hell?!
and it turned out to be the wiring located in the trunk cover...read the second post titled Sticky: Attention: ALL E36 owners beware - WIRING PROBLEM....hope it helps!
