| Really just keep up on maintenence. If you're worried about being competitive suspension is the name of the game. Tires are also a large factor. Really anything can be upgraded for autocross use, but nothing is really a must.
One thing I'd recomend though, is go for the UUC transmission mounts with the TMEs. The transmission doesn't go anywhere. Under hard acceleration there is some extra vibration, but it just sounds like more exaust noise.
But really just go to have fun. This sunday I'm gonna take off all the door panels and remove the back seat, all the trunk insulation and anythign else that looks easy to remove and have them bump me to modified. I'll see how it does without that extra 200 lbs
