Gkamysz 1st Gear Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Chicago Area Car: Posts: 194 Photos:	Auto Trans Fluid Has anyone actually changed the lifetime fluid in their auto 328? I hear it's stupid expensive. How long do the autos with lifetime fluid last. Supposedly the car I just got has been mildly driven, 96 328i with 69k on it. I don't drive autos and this is my girlfreinds car. I just need to make sure it's going to last. __________________ Greg 97 328iS, Manual, Stock

From what i have heard, "lifetime fluid" is BS. That said, I doubt the fluid in my car has ever been changed (186k miles). I wouldn't change it just yet. Maybe 100k would be a good time to do it.
