Because if you want to go fast you're always above 2.5k rpm and that is unaffected by teh torque loss. Loss is under 2.5k rpm and is like 3 lft pounds which you will lose normally day to day as a result of weather differences.

lol silver you are the man. ahh disconnect the vacuum hose!!! lol yes it will be louder, and you should worry about the torque loss. cuz i doubt there is any. the thing is only closed when idling...when u punch it, it opens up..weird
