Hey guys I'm new to the forum and starting to revamp things on my 93 325is as she gets up there in the mileage, I've owned her since 200,000 and she's still goin' strong, i'll probably be posting several questions as she's pretty much bone stock right now, and sport suspension, brake kit and your average intake, chip, headers and exhaust horsepower ups will come soon, just wanted to see who else out there had an E36 with ridiculous high miles, thanks. I have a 95 with 175,000. I'm not sure if that's rediculously high to you guys, but it is to me! I've never kept a car past 60k. Then again, I've never owned a BMW before.

Doesnt really relate, but my '94 LT1 Camaro has 160+k miles and runs great.
But more importantly.....I'm planning on possibly getting a job at a BMW dealer as a technician when I get done with school in March. Just wondering, with that kind of mileage I figure you've guys have seen a few things, what kind of problems have you had with your cars?
277 000 km's on my 95 325i. Compression is perfect and leakdown is 5%, and I track the car. Biggest problem I've found with age is wear on the chassis moreso than the powertrain.
169k on a 96 328i. Runs beautiful. I will have to check on the brakes, steering, and touch up a LOT of the wiring though. No apparent powertrain issues.
