i searched all over and couldnt find anything. i remmember reading about it somewhere but i couldnt find it. so does anyone know how its done or if its possible?

i agree.. that would be useful.. i never quite grasped the concept of why they click off when high beams click on. =o
Seems like a small wiring job probably to make fix. =)

It's got something to do with the relay. I'm interested in it as well but until someone posts at least like 3 pics and a quick writeup, then I wont bother with it.

Isn't that a good thing? There are so many repeat threads in the E36 it's not even funny.
Whoever designed the template for these forums oughta make the search link much less obscure.
I have heard that there are laws in many states saying that you can't have too many beam like lights on the front of your car (only 4 total or something like that) so in order to do that, they regular lamps stay on and the high beams come on, the fogs have to turn off in order to comply...anyone else hear of something like this?
