Anyone have torque convertor lockup problems?

3-Series (E36) Chat relating to the BMW 3-Series from 1992-1999. Autodoodad Specific models include: BMW 316i, BMW 318i, BMW 318iS/ti, BMW 320, BMW 323, BMW 320, BMW 324, BMW 325, BMW 328.

stangman67 n00b Join Date: Jul 2004 Car: Posts: 1 Photos:	This is my first post and im trying to find out info for my dads 94 325i convertable. It has the 6 with 4 speed auto. Around 50 mph, it surges in and out of 4th gear with the electric lockup convertor. If you pull it back into third the revs go way up and the surging is gone. Is there a part that i can replace for this problem? Thanks for your help. Mike
