www.autowerks.com i was looking for the HID conversion that presidente talks about for when i get elliposoids so i searched yahoo, and found that site, there i ofund some depot headlights http://www.autowerks.com/xcart/customer/pr...cca7f5959363866 for 300$ which is pretty good? anyone have depot headlights? and can say that they are good and reflect the light better onto the road?
also if i were to buy these could i do the HID conversion on them? thanks i REALLY need new headlights mine are really foggy!
from what i hear the depo lights are okay but not anything like the ZKW's. the depo's are plastic with a less distinct beam pattern compared to the ZKWs. i was thinking about getting the DEPOs myself and putting HID, but I leaned more toward the ZKW's with those DDE Enhanced rings :x But yes you can put HID on your DEPO's also.

yeah i know they are nothing like the zkws but i dont got that kind of money laying around, if idid there would be no question haha! but yeah what do you mean the depots are plastic? like the projector is plastic? is that bad? how much more ouwld you say the depots project than stock lights? big notice or not? becuase if not they i say screw it! also due to them being plastic will they break or what? if i dont go HID how hard is it to put angel eyes rings. such as http://www.autowerks.com/xcart/customer/pr...cca7f5959363866 those? those are just the rings right?
The depos don't use any more plastic than zkws. The zkw plastic is better though. The biggest difference between zkw and depo are the quality of the lens optics.
That said, I have Depos, and HID, and can see more than fine at night. If you haven't ever looked there's actually an HID how-to in my sig.

yeah i just read the whole thing while i was at work hahaha, but anyways that sounds pretty tight is it hard? but if i bought THOSE depots would they make a difference? how did you like your lights before you put HID on? thanks for all the help!! what % more better are depots than stock?
I waited to install the HID before installing the projectors so I only had to take them out/put them in once. I can't speak for the halogen quality of the Depos, but the HID quality is very good. Easily a 40% increase in range, but a good bit of that could be the HID since it reflects off objects better.

Those are not HID and will not be much, if any brighter than depos. The only difference between depo and zkw is the clarity and range of the light due to zkws superior optics. in practice though, it a difference of 10 feet, maybe.

i have enough money to buy the zkws, but im not ready to get them. i have only about $1500 saved up for spending on whatever, but im hesitant to go blowing it on LIGHTS. i already spent $40 on silverstars (which was a great investment), and about $120 on corners and markers, which im pleased with the result but am not sure if i should have spent that much. ive stopped to think about all my purchases and asked myself if its really worth the money.. to me, $499 for just headlights is out of the question, no matter how good they look. if i was filthy rich with a nice steady job out of college it would be a different story
