Anybody Have Bass?

After installing a sub in my car, from time-to-time with it hits the emergency lights come on. Is there any way to disable that, because it continually comes on.

Uh... Me thinks you have an eletrical problem! I am just guessing but you are probally drawing more power than the alternator can produce. Try this at night, with your headlights on point them at a wall and then turn your subs up. If they are dimming and flashing to the beat you need a cap, or a new alternator it depends on what you are running. Hope this helps!

just becuase your lights fade at high volume doesn't mean you're alternator is bad...it just means your amp is drawing a hell of alot of power. i solved this by installing a second battery just for my amp, but it can also be fixed by buying a capacitor. both are about equal on price.

as for the emergency lights, i don't know, try pulling out your switch and seeing if any wires are loose.
