do any of you guys have any sound clips or can post any of your CAI's? i'm just interested in the sounds of different brands, bc i don't want a ricey sound to my 325is. i was leaning towards a dinan, or conforti. -Thanks
Somebody posted this somewhere else on this forum, I forgot where I got it, otherwise I'd give credit. I had it saved so I could show a friend, but here's what his sounds like.
I recently got an ECIS intake. It comes with short ram tube, cone filter, and a heatshield. I got it after hearing one that a dude had at the track. My car now sounds completely badass. It sounds almost completely stock when keeping the throttle position below about a fourth to on half, but when you open it up or go WOT and get it above 3500, holy crap. You get a deep, throaty growl that scares the crap out of pedestrians. My friends thought I got an aftermarket exhaust when they heard me floor it by them.
It doesn't look as sweet as a dinan, but it still looks pretty cool, and it's not that expensive for what you get. I would recomend everyone get one who can a afford it.
Sorry, I don't have any sound clips. I recommend finding someone who has one and asking them for a ride or a drive by.
