Finding it in your color is the same as me finding a Estoril Blue Z3 Coupé.. nearly impossible. Get it painted, won't cost you your pants

true... any junkyard that would have your trunk lid, it would be scratched up and dented and what not, since they don't care about it...

it would have to be re-painted...

why might i ask, do u need a new trunk

i tried to debadge my car and messed up the paint a little bit in the process. just the back though

so why don't u just get it sanded down, and re sprayed... any body shop will charge you like 50 bucks... TOPS!

How bad is it? Have you tried buffing or polishing compound? Maybe it can be cleaned up.

no, its bad. it's only in a little area where the 318 badge was. i tried to use a putty knife to peel some of the residue off. yes, i heated it up with a heat gun first too. they are deep scratches though and you can see the bare metal. i know they couldnt be buffed out or anything, theyd need more paint. so since then i got a hamann sticker on ebay and stuck it over top to cover it up since i thought it would be expensive to get the trunk painted. a bit ricey but it gets the job done. id still prefer the clean debadged look though.

if i can get it doen for 50 thats great though. ill check it out
