Another Oil Question.

Hey guys,
Sorry to bother everyone with another oil/service light question. But I tried to read through as many posts as I could and still had some questions.

Just bought a 96 328is with 92,000 miles. It's in perfect condition and I want to keep it that way.

1. My first plan was to start using Mobil1 synthetic oil in it, however, I am wondering if any of you know of a device to drain the oil without having to do it from the bottom of the car (can't remember exactly where I heard of it)

2. If I use synthetic oil in the car, how many thousands of miles should I change it? From reading the posts I couldn't get a good consensus.

3. Is the service light going to go off every 3000 miles with the synthetic oil (needing a reset) or is it actually going to last the proper amount of miles?

4. Do any of you actually use the local oil change services (Jensen tire, jiffy lube, etc.)? Just wondering.

I'm also using a full synthetic... I have been changing every 7k... that seems to work well for me...

I'm pretty sure that oil service light is set to a certain interval... and wont change...

As for using oil change places to change the oil... I've used them a few times... sometimes they dont have your oil... sometimes they do... I just watch everything they do to my car... I know how to change my own oil.. and I make sure they do it my way.... but for the past 6 months or so.. I'd done it my self...
