I'm sure it would be noticeable. I've read where the Dinan makes it's power up high in the rev range. You probably wouldn't see any difference down low. At least that is the way it's supposed to be on the 6's. Not sure about the 4 cylinder. The Jim Conforti chip sold by Turner Motor Sports is supposed to be a better all around chip. Don't expect great gains, on the 6 it's about 20 more hp at the crank. Mainly it removes the speed limiter and raises the redline to 7000 rpms.

what year is your car again??

obviously OBD1???... if it a legit dinan chip, and is made for your ecu... power gains will be noticeable, like tomctx said..

most of the time, when people buy a "chip/shark" they will normally do it at the end...

meaning.. all other preformance mods, then chip... it obviously works better that way...

hey, yea I am considering buying a chip very soon for my 325is. I have decided to go with TMS Chip due to the good price, more HP gains, and better all around power (so I've heard). Although I am a BIG Dinan fan, I gotta do TMS for this. Plus TMS chip can be customized if you got an intake, exhaust, etc.
