Angel Eyes Being Dim??? - BMW Forum

Hey everyone,

Here in Burke, Virginia its about 13 degree F. I put angel eyes in my car about a month ago and sometimes one of the angel eyes is dimmer than the other one on the headlight

. But after about two minutes or so it gets just as bright

. I think it may be the cold weather but I am not sure. If anyone could give me advice on why this is happening, I'd greatly appreciate it. Any replies would help.

The weather is about the same here in New Jersey, about 15 degrees, my halos are fine.
When you installed them did you solder the wiring from the halos to the ballast or did you use wire tap connectors. Maybe a lose connection.

I used to have that problem on my E36 in NoVA too. After they warmed up they were fine. It is a temperature-sensitive technology.

Hey yea thanks...I soldered the wiring now and it seems to be running better but i still think it is temperature dependent. But will see what happens..

I had that problem too, but mine would not even light sometimes. Finally got the LEDs that I originally ordered. No problems now, i just think i overpaid for 30 Led angel eyes.
