What up everyone?! I'm new to the site (today) and I had some questions.

1) I have a 328i that I've been doing mods to over the last couple of months and it's time for new headlights. I'm interested in Angel Eyes but there are so many freaking people out there selling them (e-bay). Any recomendations on who or what site I should buy from??????

2) Also, my airbag light came on last week. Anyone ever have this problem before???

Thanks fella's

Can't help you with the Angel Eyes but maybe I can with the ABS light.

ABS LIGHT ISSUE:

Replace the grey-coloured ABS relay (under-hood driver's side fuse box). I suggest you check it first

The relay is about $25.00. See the pic for the relay and location.

See TSB Below:

ABS WARNING LIGHT ON
MODELS AFFECTED: 3 series (E36) and Z3 produced up to 5/96
FAULT: The ABS warning lamp is on in the instrument cluster, and fault code 145 (pump inoperable) stored in the ABS control module memory.
CAUSE: Faulty relays produced prior to may 1996.
SOLUTION: Use the DIS tester to confirm that fault code 145 is set in the ABS control unit. Work through test instructions in DIS confirm that the fault is not caused by any other components. Then replace the gray ABS pump motor relay, witch is located in the power distribution box, rear left side of engine compartment.

I can help with the Angel Eyes....
check Umnitza.com
look for E36 projectors:
1. DEPO Projectors w/ DDE are the best of the cheaper non OEM brands around $400 for a pair.

2. ZKWs w/ DDE are the best of the best OEM made in germany by BMW peoples and are expensive and are about $600 - $700 for a pair. I have these in my car (see my sig) and they are awesome even though I don't have DDE/angel eyes.

3. EBAY sells various cheap "made in china/taiwan" brands that i would never reccommend even though the price may be tempting at $100 to $200 a pair. Also stay away from homemade Angel Eye ring kits that involves you gluing light rings to the OEM plastic reflector lights...these could run you into bigger problems like burning your lights or starting a fire in your engine bay....

Remember Angel eyes only work safest and best with Glass shell projector lights such as the DEPOs or ZKWs....

Oh don't go to the dealership for that AirBag light...they charged me $400 when I first bought my car to replace that relay! Had I only known then.....

I guess thats nice about the ABS light... but he definetly said his airbag light came on. I have the same issue wiht mine... it probably either your seatbelt tensioner, or you passenger airbag seat sensor. From what ive heard... your bags will still deploy... hopefully. hopefully ill never find out first hand.

The airbag light is the one with a airbag on it right? So will my airbag deploy if its own?

Yeah, it is my airbag light and not my ABS light. But thanks for the info on the ABS.....if that ever comes on I'll know what to do. Also, thanks for the info on the angel eyes....you guys were very helpful.

Back to the airbag light.....does anyone have any ideas on this?
