325i Drifter is an unknown quantity at this point
I drive a '93 325i and I want a set of angel eyes. The only problem is I don't have 600 dollars. Is there any others you can get for less money but still look good?

Yeah look for Depo brand if you are short on cash or save for the ZKWs.

Here is a link from Chrs328is(not sure on the exact spelling but you get the point), from his signature of his angel eyes, depo brand

http://studentslacker.tripod.com/car.jpg

I think they look pretty good and the quality difference between them and ZKW has never been proven to me, I haven't seen a solid argument for one or the other.

Check jlevisw.com or umnitza.com those are jsut a couple sites that come to mind. Maybe bekkers.com too.

Is it possible to just add the halo rings on my stock headlights or do you have to buy the whole depo kit for $429?

Thanks for the suggestions!

I know depos have a bad rep. And I'm sure that alot of people can vouch for that, but mine are fine. And I'm sure that many other peoples are fine too. You just need to get lucky or something. anyway, these were about 300...

Yes, you can get just the rings, but you don't want to do that. When you buy ZKW's or Depo's your not just getting the cool little angel eyes. I damn sure woudn't have spent what I did for just that.

No, what your getting is a much better set of headlights. The rings are secondary, and merely asthetic. When you upgrade your headlights, you go to an ellipsoid projector which focuses the beam onto the road, and gives you MUCH better night vision. You also get glass covers that look better, and won't haze or become cloudy over time.

Save the cheese, and upgrade, don't just add rings.
