need everyones help. I was checking out umnitza.com web site and found there is alot of choices. I am not really knowledgeable about angel eye headlights. Need everyone's help on which ones should I get. I am planning to spend around 300-400 price range. Also I want the halo's to be blue. Which one's should I look into purchasing on the web site or anyone know where I can find some good ones for a decent price? Thanks
Yeah, www.germanstuff4you.com has a good pair (I'm guessing) with blue angel eyes, for around 380.00 or so. I think Daemon has the red set. You'll have to ask him what he paid and if the are the same type. If they are, they look good because Daemon's angel eyes get me off.
If you perform a search at the bottom of this page, for "Angel Eyes" you can see more opinions than you could find more opinions than you would ever want. That being said....
I did SIGNIFICANT research a few months back. If you perform the search stated above you can find NUMEROUS reason why I chose ZKW's from umnitza.com
Keep in mind as this product is relatively new (available for less than three years), most of these kits have not been adopted for mass production by big manufacturers.
When i buy something, I like to buy it ONCE. Im not into going cheap and being sorry when it costs me more in the long run.
ZKW= oem look, {German} oem build quality, and satisfaction guaranteed
Hella= aftermarket look, good build quality, also a satisfactory system
So there you have it, just my opinion, but keep in mind I lost much sleep calling, asking, and discussing this very topic for a month before I made my choice.
You've got to be getting sick of saying that. I feel sorry for you, you should like put it in your sig or something. Or copy it into a file you can post everytime somebody talks about them.
NOBODY GET ANYTHING THAT ISN'T ZKWs. Lest you suffer the rath of jllphan.

The answer would be no. Get some silverstar bulbs and then save up for the real projectors. You'll be much happier. Once I get 100 bucks I'm gonna get a set, my dad has them on his ML320 and they're quite nice.

kamakazyinc (sp?) has DEPO's and loves them. I guess he's had no problem at all. However, I have heard about 1 out of 4 Depo sets have a problem of some sort early in their lives. I just can't deal with that. One of the things I hate the most on a BMW is dirty headlights. When they start fogging up, it's over. MY MOTTO: YOU BUY THE BEST, YOU BUY IT ONCE. In my case, I am saving for the ZKW's and getting HID's at the same time. Pricey, yes, but I don't want to worry about dropping another $400 in a year.
yeah, I can;t decide if its worth the trouble to pop the lneses off and spray an antifog coating inside before I install them The feat would be made much harder to after. If I have time this weekend I probably will.

got bored, just walked over and I tried to pop the lense off.
I couldn't. The retaining clips came off easy, but the silicon seal around the lense wouldn't let it budge. As I have always said, my Depos appear to be a higher quality than what they are given credit for. Also, as mnay have said they have thin glass, I just measured an the thickness is about 5.5/16 inch (a little more than 1/4, for the math challenged).

I have ZKW Euros with DDE Enhanced from http://www.umnitza.com. But if you dont want to spend as much I would go on ebay and look for DEPOS they have a true DDE setup wired properly about $400.00 with shipping. Well worth it. DEPO is made of glass as well and are VERY good headlights. ZKW = OEM. DEPO isnt. But trust me DEPOs are well worth it. My friend has these infact I installed them and bought them from ebay for him. Very easy to setup and very well worth it. I wish I has bought those isnt of these ZKWs. I would have saved $200.00. BTW I wouldnot get hella. I just personally dont like the way they look. But if u got the cash go for the Zkws if not really go for the depos there SO VERY MUCH THE SAME. Just depends what DDE setup you want.
So I hear mixed opinions. I will of course keep researching the subject. Sounds like DEPO are still a good bet.
