I bought some angel eye headlight assemblies off of ebay and i hooked them up. the light looks kind of dim. it looks like the color of stock headlights. they are supposed to shine white. I got the hyper white bulbs for my car also, so i kinda looks off with super white headlights with dull white halos around them... can anyone help me?!?!?
Hey I'm looking for bulbs for my e36. I just got these crappy "kryptons" purple halogen/xenon hybrids that suck on ebay. They're supposed to be hyper whites but they look purplish. What bulbs did you get?
Also -concerning your problem- I heard once those angel eyes attachments you got don't work well with the OEM BMW lights. They're made for the EURO brand of E36 lights.
the angel eyes are not very bright because they are cheap ebay ones. as for bulbs go for sylvania(sp?) silverstars. those bulbs are supposed to be the best without going to HID's.
Yup what B_w said. Silerstars are good and as for theangel eyes you got cheap low powered LED most likey for your headlights. The only way to brighten them up is to change the LED's to brighter ones...

Good Looking Out on the SilverStars. I already ordered a pair of 9006ST for my E36.
I also wanted to get an E36 Head Light Angel Eyes/Projector lens set from ebay to replace my OEM set. I noticed some are going for like $150 whiles others go for $250-$500 but they all seem to be the same other than some are the Euro brand glass (expensive) and some are non-Euro plastic (cheaper). Is the EURO brand really the best and worth $300.
Also what specs should one look for?
Yes go for the the real euro headlights. It is all about quality. If you go with the cheap stuff, you will have problems with water getting into the headlight housing...fogging up...when you buy cheap headlights you will get cheap projectors in your headlights that can very easily melt on you!!! If you do buy cheap lights make sure you use silicone or something around the headlight housing to prevent water from getting in and also DO NOT use HID or higher wattage bulbs, as you run the risk of melting the projectors! How do I know, I went through this!!!
I bought ZKW, never did I have any problems! I even installed HID and still no problems!!!

Thanks.
Do those $599 ZKW Ellipsiods come with bulbs?
Also I noticed on the site they were two types of ZKW Angel Eye Ellipsiods. One is dubbed the conservative "Madison Ave" and the other is dubbed the brighter "Las Vegas" but I don't see the difference other than the parking lights are on with the "...Vegas" version Angel eyes. I'm looking for a set with whitish/blueish LED Angel Eyes rings. Do they offer this and not the yellowish LEDs?
PS: That umnitza site is confusing. They throw a half a dozen different ZKW E36 light sets on the same page and they all seem to be the same.
