I just installed some angel eyes in my car and only 1 ring lights up. When I brought it in my house, 3 lit up and 1 is like trying. I was wondering it was around 45 degrees fairenheit when I installed them. Could this be the reason why only 1 lights up?? Thanks for any help. I really dont want to have to send them back if there are no problems.
When it's very cold here (below 25 or so), one of my rings isn't as bright as the others. When it warms up, there all fine.
But keep in mind this is a relatively new thing, and there are a lot of manufacturers that make cheap crap, with poor quality control.
What kind do you have, where did you get them, and where they new? Also, did you get all new headlights, assemblies and everything, or just adding the rings to your existing headlights?
Well they were brand new depos and brand new ebay angel eyes because i couldnt afford the better ones. they are really bright. Im just hopings its the weather thats causing it. Is there any way I could tell if the rings are cracked? wouldnt it fog up or sumthing? THanks
wow. well i noticed a crack on one of rings that didnt work but the two other rings worked inside when i tested them. I really dont understand whats going on but im just going to exchange them for another set. Can you guys give me some pointers on removing angeleyes from the lenses? i have some stuff called oops its like a multipurpose cleaner. I just wanted to know would opps be better than using regular alcohol? Thanks again for helping.
rip em off ur not gonna get it off with oops its stuck on with epoxy usually. ebay "companies" are rather unreliable with customer service, hope u get an exchange
