Analog to Digital Heater Conversion

Hi,

I got a question, i was wondering if it is possible to convertion the analog heater to a digital one? I have a 92 bmw 318is with the analog heater, the one with knobs. I would like a digital heater system instead of this, i havent looked at my repair manual, i am sure it is possible but it would require loads of stuff. If you know if this is possible please respond.

yes it is, but its a hell of a lot of work. to be honest its not worth it. and the anolog is a much better system anyways IMO

Yep. I see a lot more problems at work with the cars that have the digital displays than the analog ones.

Most definately stick with the manual climate control. I specifically steered clear of a car so equiped because if the "digital climate control fails, it can be a very expensive fix!
