Ambient temperature sensor location

Pretty sure i have a dead ambient temp sensor as the display says -45 and I'm not in Fargo North Dakota. My Alldata shows the sensor being basically "under the hood" and is no help. Anyone know where the outside ambient temp sensor is located on my 1995 325i sedan?

Thanks
Al

On my E30, the sensor is located in the driver side brake cooling duct.

Got it thanks. Look straight through the lower grille and into the plastic duct and the little sensor is sticking right through there.
