I figured this is the issue but all the cars lights have a dimming or pulsing effect recently. According to bentley thats the cause. How much are they?
My GF thinks I should trade it in for a 95 325 ever since I lost to a 325i(it was a e46 but she did realize it)but I have beaten e36 325 autos. My only concern is that it won't have the LSD rear.

lights are pulsing to what? the music or bass? braking? etc
as for performance, im assuming you have a 318... if you do check out downing atlanta they make awesome superchargers for 318's, 325's 328's and if you do enough work 330's will have trouble with you
Yes its a 318is but it has LSD and the engine has been modded to give it 200hp it can do 0-60 in 6.5 seconds. I Still have to do bolt ons chip, CAI, throttle upgrade, ect. I still need to fix suspension, brakes, fuel filter, fog light problem, ac condencer, ect.
Hey Monk, What Was The Mods That You Do To Your 318, I Have One With The M44 But I Would Like To Know What Can Be Done To The Motor To Improve Performance
hmm what did you do to your car to give it 200 hp? thats pretty impressive, im suprised you lost to a E46 325, my old 325is engine destroyed e46 325's with less power than 200hp
actually I really didn't race him I pulled up behind him at a light and tryed catching up to race him but not matter what I couldn't catch up.
When my car was in better condition when I first bought it i beat a E36 325is in a straitaway and I kept up with a e36 m3 and was less than 2 car lengths away from a e46 m3 and a mustang that were racing.
Now its only slightly faster than a normal 318is. Soon it be back to its normal performance and better.
