All-red tail lights

I saw a 318ti with a completly red tail light (red in place of amber/clear)... I've looked a little bit online and talked to some other bimmer owners, and I've come up with nothin. Has anyone seen these before or know if they have them for a 2dr e36?

check BMP design, last time i saw them i believe they might have had some. if not i think i remember someone doing it themselves.

all i see is OEM clears. you could take some OEM euro clears and paint it red.

Just paing your stock one's all red. It should be pretty easy with right spray paint. That my friend, I'm not sure of the best can out there. Maybe someone here does.

i got a friend who painted his clear to smokes.

testors transparent candy apple red. Costs about $2.50 at hobby lobby. To my knowledge, no one actually makes a taillight like that. Any you see with have to have been painted or dyed. I'll dredge up some pics in a minute.

I have also done this mod but havn't painted the reverse lights, how much do you think that would effect the light output? Maybe i'll try it this weekend. I also have painted my stock corners red, looks good on a red car. I'll try to get some pics of these for you guys.

I wouldn't paint the white reverse lights. Red is too long of a wavelength. You won't get much output at all. That's why army rangers use red flashlights, the light doesn't travel far at all and the enemy can't see them.

yeah i drive a 318 too! Not the fastest but hey its a start but while you are paying for more expensive insurance, and paying way more for gas that is already way bigger, i have money haha, but i hope to sell year or so, get a 6 banger. but as for now being a teen 4 cyl good enough for the price!
