Recently I changed my RTAB's and got a 4 wheel alignment. I never really noticed this but it looks like the rear wheels are toed in. I can't remember if it was like this before. I'll take some pics later and hopefully you guys can give me some feedback. I'm also going to check my mom's 328 to see if it's like that on hers.
I know camber is standard at about 2 degrees with bmw's (that's what my mechanic friend told me a couple years ago). Toe in is a different thing all together. I didn't know that bmw's had toe-in; am I wrong? Can someone more informed add input?
Hm. It does look like you've got toe-in, but realize that the back end of your vehicle does do a shrinking trick (e36 right?). The lines on my car look like that. Huh.
I have a print out from my old car ('91 325), camber is -1°45' and toe in is 0°15' for that car. Maybe the newer 328's (96) are slightly different from the earlier e36s.

Any shop that does wheel alignments sould give you a printout. After all they probably had to print it out to verify the figures for themselves. Go back and ask for one.
So after you get a print out, what are you going to do with it? You'll see a bunch of numbers at each corner. How will you know if those numbers are within spec?
As for you rear wheel toe-in, that is normal for BMW's and it looks right to me.
