Airbag light stays on constantly

Hi Everybody,

I am new to this forum and have a question for you all!

Recently my airbag light came on and stays on whenever I start my car. After several hours of investigating I found a red wire hanging loose from a wiring harness.

It seems simple to connect however I think I need to take the seat out to connect it back into the harness. There are a number of wires connecting to the harness as the seats are electrical. So I wondered if anyone had any advice on how I should go about this, and what precautions should take to ensure I don't activate the airbag.

Welcome to the Werkz.....

1st, You will need to disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery, then you can remove your seat.....& make your repairs, after the seat is reinstalled & all the electric connections are reconnected then you can reattach the negative cable....unfortunately you will need a SRS reset tool to check & clear the Airbag light.....
