Airbag Light Aggravations

Airbag light came on Monday. Ran the codes: left seat belt lock. Ordered a new passenger's side seat belt and the problem went away. Today, the airbag light came on again. Ran the codes: Right seat belt lock. ghead $70/pop.....

So, moral of the story? replace 'em in pairs, I guess...



Also replaced the lower seat heater element in the driver's seat. It's a wonderful thing....

The airbag light sucks, too many problems with the system. Once you fix that, it will probably come back on because of the tensioner or the passenger sensor.

air bag light is dumb! why don't u just take the bulb out.. thats light is pointless anyway!

I feel your pain. Happened to me twice already ghead. Both times it was the tensioner in the seat belt that cuased it (first in the rear and then in front passenger seat). It's super annoying but it was handled by the dealership for free cause it's under warranty. But i agree with all of you its a really stupid feature to have the airbag light associated with the seatbelts

But hey 1 small glitch vs 10000000 positives aint bad :P
