| i've been thinking about this quite some time.. here is whats been doing./
if the fuel tank if over the 1/2 mark this will happen/
what it does is that when you start the engine ther is this loud noise of air being suck by the gas pump on the tank... this is not right..
and it also suck air when im deaccelerating to stop, so the gas shifts foward by a little and im pretty sure it sucks some air, because then the engine keeps fluktiating, and ive cleaned my ICV a couple of months ago,. and i also run 93 all the time,. so is no cheap gas or engine neglation...
when i took the pump out on the rear to replace th gaskets, io noticed something very strange,, there is a hard small tube that goes from one side on the tank to the other on the exterior, i think is sort of a vetn hose, since the tank is divided in half by the driveshaft. so im wondering if this pipe, that is cut on my car can make the pump suck air, wich i think is hard, since the pump is sunk on the gas..
the other thing i tink is that when i removed the fuel sending unit, the one that onl has a level sensor but no pump.; its on the passenger side, us spec.. that thing makes the pump pic up gas form the other side of the tank.. is it possible to crack the pipe of that thing when removing it form the gas tank???
sorry for my long posts.. but i keep looking for a solution, and i can find one...
thnaks.
