Air mass meter broke

yo, what's goin on peeps. After all the crap i've been thru with my bmw 'm still wit it. Now my air mass meter is broke and cause the air fuel ratio to go out of wack. I was wondering if anyone can get it cheap cuz the original price is like 300 bucks, i've seen it on ebay but i haven't been lucky enough to win any of them. Or is there any way that i can trick it with some ghetto rigging? any suggestions will help. O and i have the coolant leak as well i put some stuff to clog it up and slow the leak down, i just refill it from time to time till i get dough to fix it up.

as far as I know, you can't really do much with the mass air flow sensor with out doing major modifications to your engine ect. and even then perhaps it is still not needed. So unfortunately as far as I know your going to have to replace it if that is indeed what as gone bad. Just be sure that it is not something like your O2 sensor or dirty air filter that is not causing the problem before you spend the $ on that.

Yu might try some used parts places (I like Zionsville), I picked a MAF up for my 1988 750 from these folk for $95.00 and it works just fine.
