Air Conditioning Fan Question

I need some help on my E36 air conditioning fan in my 97 328. The amount of air coming from the a/c is low at best. The air that is coming out is cold... just not enough of it. I've replaced the cabin filter which helped a bit, but the flow of air is still barely enough to keep you cool on a 90 degree day. The fan works at all settings on the digital cabin control... any ideas?

Thanks.

An update just in case anyone else has the same problem. I changed the Final Stage Unit (about $80) and the A/C now works awesome.
