well the previous owner of my car tried to retro fit the original R12 to the newer and better system R134A but he failed and in doing so he has ruined my ac compressor and i will probobly need to replace the whole sytem.. my question is how important is the ac system? do i really need it? like to defog or anything?


side note i lice in daly city california and if some of you dont know it is also known as fog town it doesnt get too hot out here

twas a bitch when i got my tints tho, unable to wind windows down for 48 hours...

I have A/C, paid a bunch to get it fixed..

I never use it though, I always put my windows down. It's comfortable down here in FL.

No. As far as I can tell, the air conditioning system does not affect defrost.
