Its crap.... stick with the name brand stuff on this one man....
Things that count big to me... are product quality and build factor... if its made of good stuff... in a well engineered way... then it will last... and will do the job right.
I have been through a few name brand products with shifters... my fav... the Octane SSK from Rogue Engineering. Great stuff... great product.
I agree with Les. I haev an AC SChnitzer, although extremely precise and very fun to use, it's amazingly overpriced. I've heard nothign but great things about Rogue Engineerings SSK. UUC's SSK is great, but I find it very notchy. And if you do go with a UUC product, get the DSSR with it.

Yeah the Z4 one was $125usd. I emailed bav auto and asked, i'll let u know what they say. thnx for ur help...
Dude... if the stealership is going to cost that much.... 1 1/2 times the cost, I'm almost tempted to buy you one and ship it to you (all at your cost of course) because that has to be less than $125.... Anyway, if you would be interested PM me and we can work it out. The shifter is pretty small and could go in a small box, wouldn't weigh much... hopefully couldn't cost more than $50 to ship even to New Zealand... but then again who knows. If that would help you get it cheaper PM me.
i was lookin into buying the uuc ssk but ive read quite a few things saying the diy is a pain in the balls and if i cant do it myself i dont feel like dealing with it
