advice on foglights - BMW Forum

yo.. whats up guys... i blew a foglight the other day, and its starting to annoy me...

i just want some advice on what color bulbs i should get for them...

My Choices... Blue,White,Purple,Yellow or any other suggestions...
im not too fond of the silverstars, whats that i have in now...

also to take into consideration, i have my angel eyes wired to my fogs... i also have 6000k HID in my low beams

HID's in fogs would make them tottally useless in well...FOG

where did u get everything? (Headlights, angels, etc) btw, maybe ur bulbs burned becasue they are hooked up to the angels too? too much draw?

PIAA bulbs are pretty sweet too, pricey tho!

My goal is 3000K fogs, but I have Dakar and I dont thinks ilver would look as nice with 3000K fogs. If you arent going to upgrade to HID's I would recommend silverstars. I know you want change but they are your best bet and the cleanest looking.

like i said... i am getting rid of the car in october... even though i would like to HID in the foglights, but i am not going through the hassle of puttin HID in the fogs... i was just gunna throw some colord bulbs in for the time being...

i have silverstars in now... and i don't like them...

basically, no 1 has helped... thanks!

Don, I don't know why you dont liek silverstars. They are white like your otion. In any case I think you should stay with white.

I vote silverstar, color doesn't make much difference when they're almost right at the ground anyway. What is this about selling your car? What's next?

why would you buy a truck?? as a daily driver? unless you live in the boonies, with gas prices the way they are id stick with a bimmer anyday...

If it was the boonies he chose the wrong truck. The Trailblazer SS is a low SUV with a stiffened suspension, it would die off-road. Even with that it's going to be a disappointment in the corners for ya. For that amount of money we could suggest so many cars for ya dude. All you have to do is ask.

i don't think this thread was intended for you guys to hate on his decision to buy a truck, i'd say go with blueish bulbs to match your low beams, that would look the best in my opinion, and good luck with everything

i have nothing against my bimmer and for once i can say there is nothing wrong with it, i love it, but its time to move on... i am a bigger dude.. and the e36 just aint cuttin it anymore for me. i work 2 jobs, and money really isn't an option right now, i just love that truck... sure, gas will be a little problem.. but its the same now... what another 20-30 bucks a week anyway?
