Acclerator Sticking

so now my cars acclerator is sticking.... it kind of feels like im always on cruise control because when i let my foot off the gas pedal it still is reving a little bit.. when i put in the clutch it wont drop below 2500 until i either start to let the clutch back out, or rev it really high.... is this an adjustment i need to do under the hood or what? anyone have this happen on any car? its really annoying. when i reved my car from under the hood i can feel it like hit a "bump" when i push down.. and then it goes past it and then when its unreving it will get stuck right there instead of releasing all the way! I NEED HELP ASAP!

hmm, maybe its your throttle body, you can just take some corberuator cleanr, brake cleaner, pretty much any cleanor that can be in the engine and spray it there

no its the idle adjustment thing it doesnt go up and down freely anymore..

check your floor mats. mine are pretty beat up and in need of replacing and sometimes cause this problem.
