New to the forum and of course my first post would have to be a question. I have a 1993 325is and my heater/ac controls only works on the highest setting. Works great, but it only blows full blast. Once in awhile it will work on the next to the last but not all the time.
Any suggestions? I thought it may be the control switch on the dash itself not making contact or something, but it looks like a bitch to take apart.
You have to replace your blower motor relay/resistor.
If you have the automatic controls (non-rotating knobs), it's called the final stage blower motor resistor. It's behind the glove box which has to be removed.
